Davis Defense Group Expands Corporate Capabilities and Welcomes Director of Technology Operations

DDG is thrilled to share the exciting news of our expansion at the corporate level, marking the establishment of our dedicated Technology Operations Department. As DDG continues to advance its capability in the fields of Cybersecurity, Data Intelligence, and IT/Network support, our Technology Operations team will develop, manage, and promote these activities across the DDG enterprise and throughout our customer base. We are pleased to introduce Amanda Mullens, who has recently become a part of the DDG Team as of January 2, 2024. Amanda will play a pivotal role in leading both the new Technology Operations Department and our IT Team.


Amanda Mullens

Amanda Mullens is a cybersecurity professional with over a decade in the industry. She is motivated to provide top notch security practices and education to a wide variety of users and leaders. She aspires to spread security awareness through excellent support teams who are passionate about what they do. Amanda has a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus (formerly University College). Her Bachelor of Science is in Information Technology from George Mason University. She is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and also holds her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification as well as being a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO). Prior to joining DDG she was the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at a small bio-medical startup, a Security Operations Manager at Epic Games, and played many different roles during a 15.5-year tenure at Cisco Systems, Inc. Amanda has established security operations centers, along with incident response and threat intelligence teams supporting both private sector and government operations.


Amanda looks forward to helping grow DDG's business supporting government operations with high quality IT and security offerings.
